A Visit to Italy
Posted Feb 08, 2011
With the fast pace of American society, we are rarely ever able to stay in contact with the people who matter most. Being in Italy made me realize that isn't the case here.
In the little town of Broccostella, everyone knows everyone. Every night my cousins go out with their friends not to raging parties, but just to sit in a cafe and share a few laughs.
In Italy, bars are a place for friends. Families too go to have fun and sit with friends. During the summer children walk into bars with their friends and get ice cream, cakes, and other things like that. Its an escape everyone can enjoy.
These are the people who will be here for us.
